SC. 01 | Soak It In

The door clicks shut behind you and the steam has already done its work, fogging the mirror soft and white. Lavender rises off the water in slow curls. On the cedar ledge: a mug of chamomile, steeping and golden, close enough to reach. You ease in until the water closes over your shoulders, and the heat takes hold all at once. Vanilla and soft musk settle over your skin like a second layer of warmth. No one needs anything from you for the next hour. Sink lower.
